A number of fencing projects have been carried out using good quality, locally sourced materials. Post and rail and post and wire have been utilised to create long term boundaries to ensure the safety of livestock and members of the public. Rustic wooden gates or stiles are often used so that the finished project blends well with the environment. Footpath and car parking areas have also been created so that members of the public are able to utilise open spaces safely without causing additional erosion to the open space areas. Hedgerow restoration may also be undertaken so that original growth may be thinned and layered or additional trees added to provide a growing fence.
