Hedge Trimming

We will carry out hedge trimming during the winter months and make sure that this activity does not conflict with the nesting periods of hedgerow birds. A flail trimmer will normally be used for annual maintenance. Heavier duty forestry trimmers and circular saw attachments are also available where the growth has become much more established. Where trees have become mature and require thinning and layering a hedge can be restored and additional hedging varieties planted to establish an attractive stock proof boundary.
